LEAD PASTOR
Dan has his Master in Theology from Concordia University-Irvine. Dan is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. In the past, he served as church president at an Anglo church and also a Hmong church. He has been on various boards; Concordia University Regents, MN South District, Hmong in Missions, LINC. Dan has been a Finance Director at a large MN company for over 20 years. Dan started the HBC bass club and now leisurely bass fish.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Joel received his Master in Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. Joel's hometown is Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a preacher's kid. I love to work with people and enjoy being around others. You will find that Joel is a very social person. Get to know Joel in person. Joel is also a musician. He was the Keys for a popular Hmong Christian worship team called Fishermen's Project. Now Joel is a pastor but he'll help the church with music where he can. Joel and his wife Pa have 5 children and their names are ABCDE. Yes, Joel enjoys spending time with Anabel, Baylee, Carolyn, Deacon, and Elliot.

MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Kia has been the Director of Christian Education and creator of NexGen programs for midsize churches, such as a children’s VBS program. She enjoys leading weekly bible studies and Women’s fellowship. Kia has over 25 years of experience as a Product Manager at a large company in Minnesota. Kia is completing her degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ, in early 2025 and plans to continue her Master's in Christian Ministry. Kia enjoys family time with her two grandkids, four children, and son-in-law, and world traveling.

CHILDREN MINISTRY DIRECTOR Sheng was raised as a PK. She is a preacher’s kid who grew up in California and now lives in Minnesota with her husband, Yohann and son, Jordan. After many years of focusing only on her family, Sheng is now serving the church to engage children to the Gospel. She grew up helping her father run a church doing those many things PK’s do. Cornerstone uses a dynamic program for our children’s hour every Sunday with their own worship time and craft time. For fun, Sheng enjoys spending time with her small family, going to the outdoors, and running around with her son Jordan.

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
Ashleigh is a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota’s College of Design and a passionate young woman on fire for God. Since graduation, she has been dedicating her creativity to fashion and social media, pursuing her passions with purpose. She loves spending time with her loved ones and her furry companions, finding joy in connection and community. Ashleigh also has a deep love for travel, finding inspiration in the beauty of God’s creation and the world around her.

MARKETING DIRECTOR Christian is an entrepreneur with the passion to help people and businesses get our their word. This is what Christian does everyday in his life. Christian is the CEO of Pure Growth. A company he started. You will find Christian during the week speaking at webinars and gatherings showing and helping people market their content. Christian is a graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in Communications and Human Relations. Christian enjoys playing basketball and time with his family. CONTENT DIRECTOR
Angelina is an inspired recent graduate from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. With a passion in sharing the gospel, she’s been a vocalist  worshipping for over 5 years. Angelina enjoys traveling the world, exploring the outdoors, and aspires to start her own business venture.

WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Nate is an acoustic guitar player and vocalist. He has been playing guitar since he was 10 years old and was taught by his father. Well, mostly self taught for the most part. He started leading worship for the first time with CLLC in 2021. Nate is married and have one daughter named Cora. Nate played club soccer competitively while growing up. He was blessed to have gotten to see many states in the US because of it. Nate also enjoy fishing and being able to take his daughter out on the lake. He wants to teach her to fish because it is in the family. Nate enjoys leading people closer to God through worship.

MUSIC DIRECTOR
Yeng Josh is a well-known Minnesota Hmong musician. He is a Keyboardist and Pianist and has played for numerous Hmong bands in Minnesota. In Laos, he was the church Music Band Leader for his church in Vientiane. Yeng Josh speaks fluently in this order: Lao, Thai, English, and Hmong. Yeng has an English degree from Lao University. Yeng Josh enjoys playing music, cooking, and spending time with his son, family, and friends.
